Charles "Jeff" Restivo preliminary hearing with prosecutor Brain Coda and "LA's Dopest Attorney" Allison Margolin for the defense. Judge Clifford R. Anderson III presiding

Our firm believes every individual deserves the best representation money can buy. We have a thorough and robust understanding of the laws relating to cannabis and criminal law that comes from having years of experience, a hands-on approach to client service, and nationally recognized legal education and training. Our founding partners, Allison and Raza, have been recognized by SuperLawyers and elected by their fellow practicing attorneys numerous times. Together, they have received the highest honors available for attorneys under 40.

We approach our cannabis regulatory & corporate practice with the same zeal as our criminal defense cases. Allison started practicing criminal defense in 2002 and began by representing a number of patient collectives and operators who were being prosecuted by the State. As the law has evolved, our practice has as well to service clients through the state and local permitting and registration process.

We continue to maintain an active criminal practice, where an effective attorney can mean the difference between a prison sentence and reduced or dismissed charges. Even in less serious cases, a good criminal defense attorney can make a serious impact on the outcome of the case by ensuring that the rights of the accused are protected throughout the legal process. For these and other reasons, it is vital that those accused of a crime select the most competent, experienced and effective attorney available.

Our goal is simple. We aim to provide the highest level of advice and counsel effectively and efficiently. Ms. Margolin’s goals are to meet all of her clients’ needs and address all concerns, regardless of the complexity or difficulty of the matter. Ms. Margolin has the dedication, fortitude and commitment to see your matter through to a proper resolution.
